Prepare for Bankruptcy with a Document Checklist
Income Documentation
- Income tax returns from the last two years including W-2, 1099 and K-1 information
- Pay stubs and bank statements from last six months
- Records of earnings from social security, disability, alimony, disability, child support, and other investment income
- Life insurance policies
Real Estate
- Copy of the deed and mortgage
- Appraisal or estimate of your home’s value
Vehicles
- Proof of ownership, vehicle title
- Loan statement
- Estimate of your vehicle’s value
Financial Records
- Bank account records and other financial accounts
Credits and Debts
